Sharpening Steels

Sharpening steels are available with different cuts. The cut determines the surface quality and the abrasion on the cutting edge of the knife. A choice of different sharpening steel cuts is available depending on the desired material abrasion.
Available cuts:

Rough cut – For domestic use, high abrasion.
Diamond cut – Diamond surface for very high abrasion.
Reg Cut (Standard) – High abrasion.
Fine cut – Low abrasion / straightening of the cutting edge.
Polished – No abrasion, only for straightening and polishing the cutting edge.
